Washing and Care Instructions

Looking after a DTF print is simple. Follow the steps below to keep the print soft, bright and firmly bonded to the garment.

Care at a glance

To protect the finished print:

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  • Wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
  • Use a non-biological washing powder or liquid.
  • Do not tumble dry.

Washing

Turn the garment inside out and wash it at a maximum of 40°C using non-biological powder or liquid. Washing inside out keeps the printed surface away from the drum and from other garments.

Non-biological detergents are recommended because biological detergents contain enzymes intended to break down protein and starch residues.

Drying

Do not tumble dry. Allow the garment to dry naturally, still inside out where possible.

Before you wash: press it properly

A print bonds best when it has been pressed at the correct temperature, pressure and time for the fabric, including the recommended second press.
