Terms of service
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of yourdtftransfers.co.uk and any order placed with Your DTF Transfers. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Your DTF Transfers is a trading name of EHM Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 250 Boswell Drive, Coventry, West Midlands, CV2 2GW. Our VAT registration number is 435784172.
1. These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to DTF transfers, standard-size transfers, custom-size transfers, gang sheets, wholesale DTF orders, plain clothing and accessories, personalised clothing and accessories, Free Sample Packs, and any other products sold through our website.
Additional information may be provided in our Artwork Guidelines, Pressing Instructions, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and individual product descriptions. These documents form part of the information provided when you order. If there is a conflict, any specific written terms agreed for your particular order will take priority.2. Consumers and business customers
You are a consumer if you are purchasing wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession. You are a business customer if you are purchasing wholly or mainly for commercial or trade purposes.
Some legal rights, including the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right for eligible online purchases, apply only to consumers. Sections specifically marked as applying to business customers do not apply to consumers.
3. Our products
We supply products including DTF transfers, gang sheets and plain or personalised clothing and accessories. We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, measurements, prices and images are accurate.
Product images are provided for illustration. Differences may occur because of screen and monitor settings, lighting and photography, fabric texture, garment manufacturing tolerances, colour profiles, printing processes and differences between production batches. These reasonable differences do not permit us to supply something materially different from the product described or ordered.
Garment dimensions may vary within the manufacturer's stated tolerances. Please check the relevant size guide before ordering. If a selected garment, colour, size, brand or model becomes unavailable, we will contact you before making a material substitution and will not replace it with a materially different product without your agreement.
4. Prices and VAT
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery charges and any other payable costs will be displayed before you complete checkout.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted. The final price may update when you change product dimensions, sheet length, quantity, garment, colour, size, personalisation, print location, print size or delivery option. You will be shown the complete price, including VAT, before you are required to upload artwork or commit to an order.
5. Pricing errors
We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are correct. If we discover a genuine pricing error before accepting or producing your order, we will contact you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel the affected item and receive a full refund.
We will not change the price of an accepted order unless you request a change to the product or order, or the displayed error was obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as an error. If we cannot accept an order because of a pricing error, any payment taken for the affected item will be refunded.
6. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the methods displayed at checkout. Orders will not enter production until payment has been received or authorised, all required artwork has been supplied, all required product options have been completed, any artwork queries have been resolved and any requested digital proof has been approved. If payment is declined, reversed or subject to a valid fraud concern, we may suspend or cancel the order.
7. Placing an order
Before placing an order, please check the selected product, size and colour, quantity, dimensions, sheet length, print locations, print sizes, delivery address, uploaded artwork, any placement or order notes, and the final price. The website allows you to review and correct these details before completing checkout.
After placing an order, you will receive an automatic order acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received the order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we send an order-acceptance confirmation or begin producing your order, whichever occurs first.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the affected items. Reasons we may be unable to accept an order include a product or garment being unavailable, a pricing or product-description error, missing or unsuitable artwork, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, artwork that appears unlawful or infringing, or an order we are not reasonably able to produce.
8. Custom and personalised orders
Products created using customer-supplied artwork, measurements, print positions or personalisation are made specifically for that customer. This includes DTF transfers, custom-size transfers, gang sheets, wholesale DTF orders, personalised clothing, personalised accessories and other products created to customer specifications.
These products are not covered by the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. If you need to change or cancel a personalised order, contact us immediately. If production has not started, we may be able to amend or cancel the order, but this cannot be guaranteed. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled or amended unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Plain, non-personalised products
Eligible plain, unprinted products purchased by consumers may normally be cancelled within 14 days after delivery. After notifying us of cancellation, the products must be returned within a further 14 days. Full details are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy. The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to business purchases.
10. Customer-supplied artwork
You are responsible for ensuring that artwork supplied to us is correct, complete, at the intended print size, suitable for printing, not mirrored, free from unwanted backgrounds, correctly spelt, arranged as intended and supplied in accordance with our Artwork Guidelines.
Unless we have agreed to provide a separate design service, we do not automatically proofread spelling or grammar, redesign artwork, remove backgrounds, rearrange gang sheets, resize individual designs, mirror or unmirror artwork, correct customer-selected dimensions, recreate low-quality files, or check whether design elements are positioned as you intended. Completed gang sheets are printed as uploaded without rearranging, resizing or proofreading.
Our artwork checks normally cover file dimensions, resolution, transparency and obvious technical issues that may prevent printing. Our checks are not a guarantee that every customer-created error will be identified. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility where an error was caused by our production process or where the finished product is faulty or not as described. Full file requirements are provided in our Artwork Guidelines.
11. Artwork rights and permission
By uploading or supplying artwork, you confirm that you created the artwork, own the necessary rights, or have permission from the rights holder to reproduce it. The artwork must not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, design rights, privacy rights, publicity rights or other intellectual-property or legal rights.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce and print the artwork only as reasonably necessary to fulfil your order, carry out print-quality checks, resolve a complaint and maintain necessary order and production records. This licence does not give us permission to use your artwork in advertising, social media, portfolios or other promotional material without separate permission.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the artwork is unlawful, infringing, threatening, abusive, fraudulent or intended to facilitate illegal activity. If we refuse the order before production, we will refund the affected item unless we have incurred a lawful and clearly disclosed cost that cannot reasonably be recovered. Business customers are responsible for losses or third-party claims arising directly from intellectual-property infringement in artwork they supplied, except to the extent that the issue was caused by us.
12. Digital proofs
Where a digital proof is requested or required, production will not begin until the proof has been approved. Digital proofs are intended to confirm matters such as artwork choice, approximate positioning, selected print size, general layout and basic order details. Digital proofs do not guarantee an exact printed-colour match because screens and printed products reproduce colours differently.
By approving a digital proof, you confirm that the displayed artwork, wording, size and positioning are acceptable for production. Changes requested after approval may delay production, require a revised proof, or incur an additional charge where extra design work is required. Approval of a proof does not remove your statutory rights where the supplied product is faulty or not produced according to the approved proof.
13. Colour reproduction
We use a profiled nine-colour DTF printing system designed to produce bright, vibrant colours. However, exact screen-to-print colour matching cannot be guaranteed because colour appearance is affected by monitor settings, device brightness, RGB and CMYK conversion, artwork colour profiles, fabric colour and texture, and printing materials and processes.
If a specific colour is essential, contact us before ordering to request our printed colour chart or an appropriate test print. You can use the printed and digital colour charts to select the closest available printed colour and amend your artwork accordingly. Reasonable colour variation caused by screen or file differences is not automatically a printing fault. This does not affect your rights where a product is genuinely defective or materially different from what was ordered.
14. Gang sheets
When ordering a completed gang sheet, you are responsible for ensuring that the maximum printable canvas width does not exceed 58cm, the canvas length matches the selected sheet length, designs have the required spacing, the artwork is not mirrored, the file meets the required resolution and format, and all artwork is positioned and sized correctly.
Completed gang sheets are printed exactly as uploaded unless we contact you and agree otherwise. For files that cannot be uploaded through the website, you may send the artwork using an appropriate file-sharing method to info@yourdtftransfers.co.uk. The message must include the relevant order number so the artwork can be matched to the correct order. Production cannot begin until all required artwork has been received and matched to the order.
15. DTF pressing
DTF-transfer customers are responsible for applying transfers using suitable equipment and following the pressing instructions supplied with the order or published on our website. Pressing settings are provided as a guide because heat presses may differ in actual temperature, pressure, platen accuracy, heat distribution and calibration. Results may also be affected by garment material, fabric coatings, moisture, seams, pockets or collars, uneven pressure, incorrect peeling, or incorrect washing or drying.
Please test one transfer before pressing an entire order where reasonably possible. We are not responsible for problems caused solely by incorrect temperature, time or pressure, uneven or unsuitable pressing equipment, pressing onto an unsuitable material, failing to follow the pressing instructions, incorrect washing, drying or garment care, or customer damage occurring during application. If a transfer appears faulty before application, or fails when correctly applied according to our instructions, stop using the remaining transfers and contact us. This section does not exclude responsibility where the transfer itself was faulty when supplied. Our complete instructions are available through the Pressing Instructions page.
16. Production and dispatch
Production begins once payment has cleared, required artwork has been received, the artwork is print-ready, necessary order information has been supplied, and any requested proof has been approved.
Eligible DTF orders totalling under 15 metres and placed before 12pm on a working day may qualify for same-day dispatch. Orders totalling exactly 15 metres or more follow the wholesale turnaround and are normally produced and dispatched within 1-3 working days once all payment and print-ready artwork have been received. The qualifying length is based on the combined total metres across the complete order. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Processing and delivery estimates are explained in our Shipping Policy.
17. Delivery
Delivery services, charges, estimated times and postcode exclusions are displayed at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates begin from the date of dispatch and are not guaranteed unless a specifically guaranteed service has been purchased.
For consumer orders, products remain our responsibility until they are delivered into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them. This does not apply where you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer. You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, and contact us immediately if you notice an address error. We will try to update it where possible but cannot guarantee changes after dispatch.
18. Local collection
Local collection is available from 250 Boswell Drive, Coventry, West Midlands, CV2 2GW. Please wait for confirmation that the order is ready before arriving to collect it. Collection times must be arranged or confirmed in advance.
19. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
All products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, as described, and produced according to the agreed order details. If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us as soon as possible with the order number, a description of the issue, clear photographs, and photographs of the packaging where relevant.
Available remedies may include a reprint, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law. Personalised products remain protected by statutory rights when they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. Full information is available in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
20. Free Sample Packs
Free Sample Packs are supplied to allow you to assess our general print quality, colour vibrancy, feel, stretch and wash durability. A Sample Pack is not a printed proof of your own artwork and does not guarantee how a specific file or exact colour will reproduce. Any stated delivery charge for a Sample Pack will be displayed before checkout.
21. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and promotions must be used before their stated expiry date, cannot be exchanged for cash, may be restricted to specific products or customers, may require a minimum order value, cannot be combined unless expressly stated, and do not apply retrospectively to completed orders. Wholesale pricing cannot be combined with other discount codes unless expressly stated. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where it contains an obvious error, but this will not affect orders already validly accepted unless permitted by law.
22. Refusing or cancelling an order
We may refuse or cancel an order where the product is unavailable, we cannot obtain payment, required artwork is not supplied, the artwork cannot reasonably be printed, the order contains an obvious pricing error, we reasonably suspect fraud, fulfilling the order would be unlawful, the artwork appears to infringe third-party rights, or delivery to the selected address is unavailable. If we cancel an order, we will notify you and refund any amount paid for products we will not supply. Nothing in this section allows us to cancel an accepted consumer order arbitrarily or remove any statutory remedy available to you.
23. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, fire or flood, power, equipment or network failure, industrial action, transport disruption, courier disruption, supplier failure, government action or public emergencies. Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact affected customers where appropriate. If the delay becomes substantial, you may have the right to cancel affected products and receive a refund for products not supplied. This section does not remove any rights provided by law.
24. Website availability and use
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website for maintenance, security, operational or commercial reasons, and we do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or error. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, introduce viruses or harmful code, misuse upload functionality, interfere with website security, use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or copy or commercially exploit website content without permission. Nothing in this section affects an order that has already been accepted.
25. Website intellectual property
The website and its original content, including branding, layout, written content, product photography and graphics, belong to us or are used under licence. You may use the website for personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our original website content without written permission. Customer-uploaded artwork remains the property of the customer or its respective rights holder.
26. Personal information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information may be used as reasonably necessary to process orders, take payment, produce products, deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
27. Our liability to consumers
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, faulty or misdescribed goods, or any other matter that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If you are a consumer, we supply products for private use. We are not responsible for business losses where you purchase as a consumer, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption.
28. Liability to business customers
This section applies only to business customers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of title, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. Subject to those exceptions, we are not liable to a business customer for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings or goodwill, or business interruption. Subject to applicable law, our total liability to a business customer arising from an order will not exceed the total amount paid for the affected order. Business customers should consider whether they require their own insurance against commercial losses.
29. Complaints
If you have a complaint, contact us at info@yourdtftransfers.co.uk, on 07592 925337, or by post to Your DTF Transfers, 250 Boswell Drive, Coventry, West Midlands, CV2 2GW. Please provide your order number and a clear description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and normally respond within one working day. If further investigation is required, we will keep you informed. This complaints process does not affect your statutory rights.
30. Governing law and courts
These Terms and any contract between us are governed by English law. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections that apply in the part of the United Kingdom where you live; the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction; if you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland; and if you live in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland. If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or an order.
31. General terms
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply. If we delay enforcing a right, this does not mean that we have waived it. No person other than you and us has a right to enforce these Terms, except where the law provides otherwise. For business customers, these Terms and any expressly incorporated documents form the entire agreement concerning the relevant order. Nothing in this section excludes statements or representations that consumers are legally entitled to rely upon.
32. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our products, ordering process, policies or legal obligations change. The version applying to an order is the version displayed and accepted when the order is placed. Updated Terms will not be applied retrospectively to an already accepted order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
